Ella and Sam are both doing great! Ella loves preschool. She looks forward to each and every day. She is ready to start learning to read next month, as she and two other girls in her class have mastered their letter sounds! We are really proud of her.

Sam is still in therapy 4-5 days each week. It is making a big difference. He loves the word 'go' and uses it all day long. He is finally pointing at things he wants and at objects to bring your attention to them (huge step!). As Sam becomes more aware of our world, his frustrations have increased. He wants to be understood and it is hard for him when he isn't (this is a good thing and will hopefully lead to functional communication in the next few months). He loves his cars and trains, puzzles, blocks and any toys that make (annoying) noise ;)
