When I tell people that Ella and I made a batch of lilac jelly everyone looks at me strange and asks 'why?'. To which I will start replying 'because Pinterest said we could.'. Besides, it is quite yummy!

| First we picked a bunch of lilacs and cleaned them up. |

| Then we took two cups and put them in this mason jar and filled it with 2.5 cups boiling water. Let steep for 24 hours. |

| Then this really cute girl and I made them into jelly! |
 |
| It made a total of 4 half pint jars of purple pinky jelly. |
 |
| And...the verdict is in. It is delicious!! |
